THE IRISH AMERICAN HERITAGE MUSEUM IS PROUD TO HOST THE SCREENING OF "IRELAND AND THE FIRST NATIONS“ ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9, 2026.

"Ireland and the First Nations" (Éire agus Na Chéad Náisiúin) follows the incredible and untold story of how Irish people interacted with the First Nations of North America with contributions from some of Ireland's leading historians along with a new wave of First Nations academics and commentators. The film is in the Irish language.

IAHM is also honored to host Mohawk elders Kay Olan and Tom Porter, both featured in the film. Kay Olan and Tom Porter will lead a discussion following the film screening.

Doors open 6:00 PM. Movie screening begins at 6:30 PM, followed by discussion.
