This retreat is an invitation to take Jesus at his word: He says “Come to me all who are weary and heavy burdened and I will give you rest.” Our current culture glorifies productivity above rest. Our world wages war against our peace of mind, our wellness of body, and our contentment of heart. We are tired in at least one or more area of our lives– physically, mentally, emotionally, or spiritually. How can we shift the orientation of our hearts from seeing rest as something we get one or two hours a week, to something we can live out each and every moment? Looking at the wisdom of the Bible, and that of holy men and women who have lived the Christian walk before us, we find some key ideas of how to make that shift.
True rest is not found at the end of a to-do list or in the resolution of the problems we encounter in our daily lives. The rest we crave comes from having a right-ordered relationship with God - first and foremost - with others and with ourselves. When we seek this order, we will find His peace.
Of course, it all starts and ends with this simple truth: Jesus is our rest. Let's take time to orient ourselves towards this truth during the Advent season.
Lead by Music Therapist Danielle Savard and Author Hannah Chartier, we will take time to pray, worship, listen to talks, journal, participate in a therapeutic intervention, share with each other, and REST together.

Time: Registration begins at 9 AM, retreat begins at 9:30 AM, concluding with option to attend Saturday Mass at 4 PM.
Open to all women ages 15+

Cost: $50 per person + $12.50 for catered lunch (optional). You must select whether you would like the catered lunch or not at time of registration. Some sponsorships are available; please contact us for more information.
