About this Event
I-RIM, l’Istituto Italiano di Robotica e Macchine Intelligenti, presenta I-RIM 3D 2026, la VIII edizione dell’evento sulla Robotica e le Macchine Intelligenti a Roma dal 23 al 25 Ottobre 2026, presso il Gazometro Ostiense, in sinergia con Maker Faire Rome – the European Edition.
Per la prima volta, la conferenza introduce una sezione dedicata agli articoli scientifici completi, oltre ai consueti abstract estesi, consentendo agli autori di presentare lavori di ricerca soggetti a revisione paritaria scientifica. I contributi selezionati saranno presentati alla conferenza e pubblicati nella collana Springer Proceedings in Advanced Robotics (SPAR), offrendo l’opportunità di diffondere risultati di ricerca consolidati in una pubblicazione d’archivio formale. Gli abstract estesi saranno presentati durante l’evento e, come negli anni precedenti, pubblicati negli atti della conferenza I-RIM.
I-RIM 3D continua a far conoscere le attività scientifiche presenti e future di una comunità molto vivace che si apre a tutti gli stakeholder, illustrando i risultati di ricerca più recenti e mettendo in luce attuali tendenze e tecnologie.

I-RIM, the Italian Institute of Robotics and Intelligent Machines, presents I-RIM 3D 2025, the VIII edition of the event on Robotics and Intelligent Machines in Rome from 23 to 25 October 2026, at the Gazometro Ostiense, in synergy with Maker Faire Rome – the European Edition.
For the first time, the conference introduces a section dedicated to full scientific papers, in addition to the usual extended abstracts, allowing authors to submit research papers subject to scientific peer review. Selected contributions will be presented at the conference and published in the Springer Proceedings in Advanced Robotics (SPAR) series, offering the opportunity to disseminate consolidated research results in a formal archival publication. Extended abstracts will be presented during the event and, as in previous years, published in the I-RIM proceedings series.
I-RIM 3D continues to raise awareness of the present and future scientific activities of a very lively community that is open to all stakeholders, illustrating the most recent research results and highlighting current trends and technologies.
