About this Event
Join us at Kindred on Dec 1st, 2026 for an evening to mark the release of Vean Ima's bold and unapologetic debut poetry collection and EP soundscape, I Named This Scar After You.
Accompanied by her full band, Vean Ima performs the soundtrack that brings her collection to life, A heart stirring body of work combining evocative music with unforgettable storytelling.
Following the performance Vean Ima will be in conversation with author, columnist and equity advocate Africa Daley-Clarke where they will deep dive into the vulnerable themes of I Named This Scar After You. This will include live readings by the author and a Q&A.
Books will be available to purchase on the night, signed by the author.
See you there!
