About this Event
I’M JUST A GIRL: AN EVENING WITH JESS BACON, IN CONVERSATION & COLLAGE
There’s something in the air right now… a return to girlhood or, as Jess Bacon calls it, 'second girlhood'; softness, play, dressing like our 2000's rom-com icons, a return to themed girl dinners...you get the picture. Nobody captures that quite like Jess Bacon, which is why she's coming to Fabled!
Join us for a very special evening celebrating the launch of her debut memoir I’m Just A Girl; a book that explores identity, body image, ambition, and what it really means to grow up (and keep growing) in the spotlight of modern womanhood.
You might know Jess as the journalist interviewing the likes of Margot Robbie and Emily Blunt, or for her refreshingly honest take on body confidence online.
Together, Jess and I will explore:
✨ girlhood in the age of Taylor Swift, Barbie an dother cultural moments
✨ how to hold onto softness in a world that rewards hardness
✨ carving out a creative career on your own terms and much more!
And because I believe in creating events like none you've ever experienced, this evening also includes a guided collage workshop with artist Sophie Luckman, centred around the theme of girlhood. EEEEEK!!!
Expect an atmosphere that feels warm, creative, and just the right amount of nostalgic.
The brief is: magazines, scissors, shared stories, and a room full of like-minded women - oh and Jess, duh!
You’ll leave with:
💌 your own collage to take home
💌 a renewed sense of creativity and a few new gal pals
💌 new perspectives on identity, body image, and self-expression
💌 that rare feeling of having been part of something special
Seats are limited for this one and it will sell out!
