Feel what HYROX race day is like. Half Sim, coached waves, solo or doubles. All levels welcome — members and non-members.About this Event
The Half Simulation puts you through the real HYROX race format — eight runs, eight stations — at half distance, so you can feel the demands of race day, test your pacing and transitions, and set a baseline before training begins on October 7.
Racing HYROX Anaheim in December? This is your starting line. HYROX-curious? This is the easiest way to find out what a race actually feels like — no experience required, and every wave is coached.
The Course
Race the clock through 8 × 500m runs, each followed by a station:
- 500m Run → 500m Ski Erg
- 500m Run → 25m Sled Push
- 500m Run → 25m Sled Pull
- 500m Run → 40m Burpee Broad Jump
- 500m Run → 500m Row Erg
- 500m Run → 100m Kettlebell Farmer's Carry
- 500m Run → 50m Sandbag Walking Lunges
- 500m Run → 50 Wall Balls
How It Works
- Staggered start waves run throughout the morning. Your start time and the full event schedule will be emailed the week of the event.
- Race solo or as a doubles team. Doubles split the stations and run together.
- Coached the whole way. Our HYROX coaches will be on the floor for pacing, station technique, and transitions.
- Your baseline. We'll run a second Half Sim on November 15 so you can measure exactly how far the training block takes you.
Race-Day
Stick around after your wave. We'll have some of your favorite fitness brands on site to shop the perfect race-day fit, exclusive race-day styling, prizes, and plenty of time to hang with the F45 community.
Good to Know
- Arrive 20 minutes before your wave to check in and warm up.
- Bring water, and wear shoes you can run and lift in.
- Open to members and non-members.
