Please join us on Sunday, October 11, at 3:00 PM for a concert featuring First Lutheran’s lead music staff, Brett and Marita Wolgast. The concert, titled "Hymn Settings through the Ages," will focus on settings of hymns old and new with music for solo organ, organ and piano duets, with audience and First Lutheran’s Adult Choir participation. The program includes arrangements of such familiar hymns as, “Praise to the Lord, the Almighty” and “O God Our Help in Ages Past,” to American hymns and Spirituals like, “Go Down, Moses,” “Swing Low Sweet Chariot,” and “Shall We Gather at the River.”
The Music Arts Series is proudly supported by the donations of members and friends, so there is no ticket price for the event. Contributions are gladly accepted at firstlutherancr.org/music-arts.
