About this Event

The School of Humanities presents: Humanities World Changers 2026! Co-organised by the School of Humanities and Student Voice interns, this event features:

  • Humanities student projects showcase
  • 3 Alumni Roundtables (Heritage, Business, Public Sector)
  • Networking lunch with alumni and employers
  • Welcome speech from the Principal of UofG - Professor Andy Schofield
  • The Launch of the Humanities World Changers report with Head of Humanities, Professor Ian Forrest and report author - student intern, Jodie Pike
  • Keynote Speech from Ewen MacAskill (MA History & Politics)

TICKET INFORMATION: The ticket will give you access to the whole event. Feel free to drop in and out of sessions, although we would recommend attending for the whole day to gain the maximum insight on the value of our Humanities degrees and where they could take you! Do make sure you arrive early for the buffet lunch and student project exhibition in the Dining Hall at 1-2pm, as capacity here is limited. If you are no longer able to attend the event, we would be grateful if you could relinquish your ticket.
