Its time to see what your capable of, we are pleased to announce Hull's Strongest Push Pull competition is back for another chance to find the biggest lifts going. This year will consist of max overhead Monster Dumbbell press and max conventional Axle deadlift.
Each athlete will get 3 nominated lifts and the event will proceed in a rising bar fashion with each athlete being called as the weight increases irrespective of class.
We will start with max DB, wrist straps, elbow sleeves and grip shirts are allowed. Min opening weight of 25kg.
Once all athletes have completed the overhead we will move to Max Deadlift.
All lifts will be completed on the solid Strength Shop Axle and calibrated plates.
3 Nominated lifts, all straps and suits are allowed. Conventional pull only, athletes may pull sumo in a guest lifting capacity only and weight will not count towards final total. (Please contact if you wish to enter in a guest lifting capacity) Again event will proceed in rising bar order with athletes being called as weight increases irrespective of class.
Categories! Numbers dependant but we will run the following:-
Men - U80/U90/U105/Opens and Masters 40+ (on day of competition)
Women - U73/U82/Opens and Masters 40+(on day of competition)
Medals for Category Podiums, Trophies for biggest Male/Female total and Kg for Kg Strongest Male/Female
£100 prize for each male and female winner of the biggest total and Kg4Kg strongest.
