Hamed Zoheiri

Persian Singer & Setar Player

Hamed Zoheiri is a Persian singer and setar player. He began singing at the age of 12 and has pursued formal training in Persian traditional singing and setar since 1999.

Throughout his artistic journey, he has collaborated with various ensembles and musicians, including Omid, Eshraq, Anuband, the Davoud Azad Ensemble, and Kereshmeh Saqi. He has performed in Iran, Turkey, France, Belgium, and Switzerland at concerts, festivals, and cultural events. Based in Paris, Hamed’s artistic work focuses on Persian singing, mystical music, improvisation, and the dialogue between Iranian musical traditions and contemporary sounds.

His recent activities include participating in La Cité Bleue Festival in Switzerland, the Au Fil des Mondes Festival at Le Salmanazar in Épernay, the Harmonie de l’Amour Festival, held in celebration of Rumi (Mowlana), as well as leading Sama dance and mystical music workshops in Belgium.

He has also participated in “Comptines et berceuses d’Iran”, a project in collaboration with Didier Jeunesse for the Bibliothèque François-Mitterrand in Paris.

Alongside his performance career, Hamed teaches Persian singing and vocal technique, with a passion for sharing the depth, beauty, and richness of this musical tradition with new generations.
