About this Event
NJRC, in partnership with the Passaic County Workforce Development Board, will host a Passaic County H.R. 1 Informational Roundtable bringing together civic and nonprofit organizations, government officials, healthcare and social service providers, workforce partners, faith-based leaders, and community members to discuss the impact of H.R. 1 on SNAP and Medicaid eligibility.
The discussion will provide practical guidance on new work and community engagement requirements, exemptions, documentation and verification standards, and qualifying workforce activities, while connecting residents and service providers with resources to help Passaic County residents prepare for implementation and maintain access to essential food assistance and healthcare benefits.
