“Gorgeous, vibrant, and terrifying! Goddamn is it a wild ride.” – Dread CentralA magenta‑soaked descent into cosmic madness, this mind-bending adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft’s classic story stars Nicolas Cage in one of his most unhinged performances as a farmer battling the reality-warping effects of a mutant extraterrestrial organism from outer space that infects the minds and bodies of his family. Watch as the world dissolves into tripped-out psychedelic terror as a family’s quiet rural life transforms into a living nightmare. Featuring one of the most deranged performances in a career absolutely packed with them, Color Out of Space is the rare film that actually matches the unhinged lunacy of Nicolas Cage.
Need more cosmic horror in your life? Be sure to grab a ticket to the equally demented Lovecraft adaptation, From Beyond, playing immediately before Color Out of Space.
