The Mighty Howlers are a high-energy British rhythm & blues band delivering sharp riffs, driving grooves and a live show built to move a crowd.Rooted in the fierce tradition of Dr Feelgood, Nine Below Zero and The Fabulous Thunderbirds - with a nod to ZZ Top and the raw Chicago blues greats - the band blend vintage grit with modern punch. This isn’t background blues. It’s front-of-stage, sweat-soaked, dance-floor-filling R&B.
With a packed gig schedule across the South West and beyond, The Mighty Howlers have earned their stripes on major festival stages including:
The Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival
Tenby Blues Festival
Swanage Blues Festival
Boardmasters
Alongside these headline events, the band are regular fixtures at club shows, ticketed venues and regional festivals, building a loyal following that travels to see them.
Their 13-track debut album is available on all major streaming platforms, and their next release is currently in production - written between gigs and shaped by the energy of the live stage.
The Mighty Howlers don’t just play the blues… They deliver it.
