Fire up the DeLorean and grab your pup — Howl-O-Weenie is going Bark to the Future! ⚡🐾
Off Leash MKE’s annual dog-friendly Halloween party returns for its 6th year, and this time we’re traveling through the decades for an afternoon of costumes, raffles, activities, and plenty of Halloween fun for dogs and their people.
Come dressed for the past, present, future — or whatever wonderfully ridiculous idea you and your dog come up with.

⚡ Pet Costume Contest
It’s time to hit the runway.
Our annual pet costume contest is back, with the crowd choosing the winners in three categories:
- Best Overall Costume
- Best Pop Culture Costume
- Best Pet & Their Person
Costumes do not have to follow the Bark to the Future theme — creativity is encouraged!
🎟️ How to Enter
$20 in advance
Limited to 30 contestants
All costume contest entry proceeds benefit local rescue.
Register by Friday, October 23, or until all 30 spots are filled.
Not entering the contest? No problem. Howl-O-Weenie is open to everyone, so bring your dog, cheer on the contestants, enter the raffles, and join the party.
🕒 Event Schedule
3:00 PM — Howl-O-Weenie begins + raffles open
4:00 PM — Pet costume contest & runway parade
5:00 PM — Voting closes + costume contest winners and raffle prizes announced
6:00 PM — Event ends
