About this Event
This class synthesizes our 40 years of organizational experience supporting groups throughout the St. Louis region in creating and sustaining successful community-based food projects. We will review each step in the process of starting a community or school garden and/or orchard, and provide essential documents, examples, and other resources you may utilize to start your own project. We will also provide time for you to collaborate with other attendees and guide some hands-on activities to help you get started.
Lastly, we will discuss the possibility of joining the Seed St. Louis network, which would provide ongoing specialized support to your community food project. Attending this class is the first step in that process and is required for eligibility. We will offer the same class twice, in-person on November 19 and virtually on December 8.
Date: Thursday, November 19
Time: 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
