About this Event
Have you ever set a goal with the best intentions—only to lose motivation, feel overwhelmed, or forget about it entirely?
The problem may not be you. It may be the way the goal was designed.
Traditional goal-setting often focuses on a desired outcome: finish the project, grow the business, change careers, build a healthier habit, or finally tackle the idea that’s been waiting in the wings. But an outcome alone doesn’t help you stay motivated, decide what to do next, or navigate the challenges that inevitably show up.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn a more meaningful and practical approach to setting goals—one that connects what you want to accomplish with your values, emotions, strengths, and everyday life.
You’ll choose a goal, project, dream, or change you’d like to explore and begin creating your own SatisfACTION Plan.
Together, we’ll explore how to:
- Turn an “away from” goal into something meaningful you want to move toward
- Connect your goal to your values and define what everyday success looks like
- Anticipate real-world obstacles and inner-critic challenges
- Break an overwhelming project into small, manageable actions
- Create supportive habits and identify the resources you can draw on
- Recognize and celebrate progress—not just the final outcome
You don’t need to arrive with a perfectly defined goal. You can bring a big dream, a half-formed idea, a project you’ve been avoiding, a habit you want to develop, or an area of your life or creative work you’d like to change.
You’ll leave with a clearer, more motivating goal and the beginnings of a realistic plan for moving forward—one small, meaningful action at a time.
This workshop may be especially helpful if you:
- Have a goal but aren’t sure how to begin
- Start projects with enthusiasm but struggle to follow through
- Feel overwhelmed by everything it would take to reach the finish line
- Are tired of setting goals based on pressure, guilt, or “shoulds”
- Want to make progress on a creative project, business idea, career change, or personal priority
- Need help turning a big idea into smaller, more manageable actions
- Want a goal-setting approach that makes room for real life
- Are ready to reconnect with something that genuinely matters to you
What to bring
Bring one or two goals, dreams, projects, habits, or possible changes you’d like to explore. They can be messy, ambitious, uncertain, or still taking shape.

You can expect to hear cheesy puns and alliterations, and see her learning and making in the space herself – as 75% of what Kate owns are art and craft supplies. Clay, paint, markers, chalk, charcoal, yarn, embroidery, stamps, paper and canvases, fabric, bits and bobs she thinks could become something great.
