Real talk on the unwritten rules of working and connecting in the U.S.
Nobody hands you a guide when you arrive.
You figure out the job. The city. The commute. But the unwritten rules — how to small talk with a coworker, how networking actually works here, why some things feel so off even when you're doing everything "right" — those you're expected to just know.
This is a space for international professionals, immigrants, and expats in San Diego who are ready to stop trying to understand it all alone.
The Insider Series is a monthly gathering in San Diego for honest, practical conversations about navigating life and work in the U.S. — from someone who has spent years helping people do exactly that.
Each session includes:
— A 15-minute expert perspective on the topic
— 30 minutes of facilitated group discussion
— 30 minutes of open networking and socializing
No lectures. No PowerPoints. Just real conversation with a small, curated group of people across industries who are figuring out the same things you are.
