About this Event
About the workshop
Join artist and illustrator Sara for an informal workshop exploring her journey from studying comics in Palermo to working across illustration, animation, self-publishing and teaching in Cambridge.
Sara will share her experiences, creative practice & how her work has developed and some of the different paths her career has taken, with time for questions.
The second half will get practical: you’ll make your own comic through a series of playful exercises exploring sequence & storytelling. No drawing experience is needed.
For people already working in, or simply curious about the creative industries.
Who is this for?
This workshop is part of a wider series for people who are interested in the creative industries, whether you’re looking to get into them, already working in them, or figuring out where you fit. Alongside the practical workshop, you’ll get to know the artist, hear about their creative journey and how they found their way into the industry, with time to ask questions and chat.
