How to Maintain Rapport When You Need to Report

This training will help mandated reporters navigate child and elder abuse reporting requirements while maintaining trust and rapport with clients. Participants will learn practical, trauma-informed strategies for communicating reporting obligations, involving clients in the process when appropriate, responding to difficult emotions, and supporting the therapeutic or helping relationship before, during, and after a report is made.
