About this Event
Whether you've dreamed of launching your own clothing label, have an interest in fashion or simply want to explore your creative side, this hands-on workshop will help you take your first steps towards building a brand of your own.
Join us for Episode 4 of the Student Enterprise Workshop Series, led by Dr Esther Pugh and a guest speaker, as we explore what makes a successful fashion brand and how to turn your ideas into something that stands out.
What will you learn?
During this interactive workshop, you'll discover:
- What makes a successful fashion brand and how to stand out from the competition.
- How to identify your ideal customer and understand your market.
- How to develop your brand's purpose, personality and values.
- How to create a brand identity, including colours, logos and messaging.
- How to bring your ideas together and confidently pitch your brand.
What will you be doing?
This isn't just a lecture!
You'll have the opportunity to put your ideas into practice through a series of creative activities.
You'll work individually or in pairs to develop your own fashion brand concept, exploring everything from brand names and target customers to mood boards, colour palettes and logo ideas.
You'll then bring your ideas together and create a short pitch to share your brand concept.
By the end of the session, you'll have the foundations of your very own fashion brand!
