In this workshop, Philip Pryor and Bob Selden of Family Business Central will:
➡️Identify the biggest risks threatening family businesses and how to manage these risks.
➡️Provide practical advice on navigating conflict, succession planning, and fairness within the family.
➡️Discuss tools and processes for improving communication, trust, and decision-making across generations.
➡️Advise on how to set up appropriate family governance structures based on real family business experience and tested strategies.
➡️Open a conversation for founders, next-generation leaders, advisors, and family members to help develop successful transition and succession planning.
This will be an interactive workshop that will discuss issues relevant to the group and provide practical solutions and ideas.
- About the facilitators
🎤Philip Pryor
Philip is a trusted advisor to family businesses, combining expertise in family psychology, change, and business consulting. Over the past 28 years, he has worked with family business owners and executives in London, New York, New Zealand, and Australia.
🎤Bob Selden
Bob Selden is a Senior Consultant with Family Business Central, helping family businesses across New Zealand strengthen leadership, manage transition and build lasting family and business legacies. Based in the Manawatu, Bob has been involved with Family Business Central since its establishment in New Zealand in 2017 and has led the New Zealand business since then. Prior to this, he and CEO Philip Pryor worked together for more than 20 years in Australia and overseas.
