The souls of our ancestors return, drawn by the fragrance of marigold flowers (cempasúchil), and for one day we eat, drink, and laugh together again.
This is an invitation to honor those who came before you and to change parts of your story to make space for who you are becoming.

Día de los Muertos is a UNESCO-recognized Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, a sacred tradition of remembrance, community, and celebration that long predates and stands apart from Halloween. For Teresa, who was born and raised in México, this celebration is rooted in lived experience and personal reverence
What to Expect
We'll open with a grounding yoga class to arrive fully in the body. From there, Teresa will guide us through the traditions, symbols, and origins of the Day of the Dead altar - its meaning, its elements, and the story it tells. We'll close this portion together with the lighting of the altar, a collective moment of honoring our beloved departed ones.
We'll then share snacks brought in memory of our loved ones before moving into a guided reflective practice, an opportunity to examine the stories we've been carrying and begin to rewrite them.
We close with the Blue String Circle, a sacred ceremony to honor those who have passed, and a sound journey to ground us and integrate the beauty of the day.

Altar Kit — $55, purchased separately
A traditional Día de los Muertos altar kit featuring ornaments from México is required for the ceremony. The kit is not included in the $98 registration fee and will be available for purchase when you arrive at the event.
