When someone comes to Rise for help, they've often already told their story more times than they should have to. A new advocate, a new program, a different office, and they start over. We wanted to change that.
A system built around our team
Working with Buoyancy Works, we've built case management software around how our team actually works. A client's history and next steps belong to the whole team, so support carries across staff, programs, and locations without people repeating themselves. No more clicking through endless screens or rebuilding the same information in spreadsheets. It's Canadian-owned and Canadian-hosted, so client data stays in the country.
Serving more Calgarians than ever
Rise is Calgary's leading agency for the Basic Needs Fund (emergency financial help) and files more low-income taxes than anyone in the city. We served 2,000 new clients last year, and that number keeps climbing. This is how we keep up without losing the personal part of the work.
