When: 11:30am-3:30pm
Walk out to ponds and explore the importance of the land right next to our water sources, riparian zones. We will learn how we study these spaces and participate in an ongoing restoration project.
Free program for home school families open to all ages, with a focus on programming for 6-12 year olds.
Dress for the weather; path is uneven dirt/gravel and trail is 1.5 mile roundtrip. Jogging strollers allowed. No dogs, except service animals allowed.
Participants may also explore the exhibit hall and outdoor river campus between 9:30 am - 4:30 pm.
