Rocky View County residents can bring accepted household hazardous waste (HHW) recycling materials to the:Elbow Valley Chuck Wagon
September 26 | 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
31040 Lott Creek Dr, Calgary
These one-day summer events are offered to expand access and convenience for HHW recycling. Residents can also drop off accepted HHW materials year-round at the Bragg Creek, Irricana, Langdon, Cochrane and Airdrie Transfer Sites.
Accepted materials include:
▪️Oil, oil filters, and empty oil containers/pails
▪️Electronics
▪️Household and automotive batteries
▪️Household hazardous waste in original containers
▪️Paint
Important notes:
▪️If you have a large amount of material, call 403-230-1401 in advance.
▪️Materials must be packaged properly or they may be refused.
▪️Materials left before or after event hours are considered illegal dumping and may be subject to bylaw enforcement.
