Once a year Rockingham Planning hosts a Hazardous Waste Day at the Public Works Department. This provides an opportunity for residents of local communities (East Kingston, Epping, Exeter, Greenland, Stratham, Newfields, Seabrook & South Hampton) to dispose of hazardous waste they have accumulated over the year. There is a 10-gallon or equivalent limit per household.Date: October 3, 2026 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Pre-registration and the brief survey are REQUIRED.
Price: $15 - to help offset disposal costs
Preregistration is required. (30 minute time slots)
Survey must be completed before registering.
One ticket per household; however you may carpool with other households.
Please arrive during your 30 minute registered time slot to minimize delay.
Please adhere to waste limits and eligible types of waste.
NEW: Hazardous light bulbs will not be accepted. See flyer below for details.
Volunteers collecting materials will be wearing protective gear.
