Join us at the Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba for a gathering to celebrate our House Rocks, in collaboration with Making our Mark III and artist Sarah E. Hoffman.House Rock Show & Tell will be hosted on Thursday, July 23, starting at 7PM. This is an opportunity for you to take your House Rock outside and meet others for a day of learning and creativity!
House Rock ™ is a project that encourages individuals to collect and maintain relationships with the House Rock ™ in their life. House Rock ™ are not regular rocks; they are rocks that choose to live indoors; with us, as silent strong companions to our lives. They are domesticated rocks and it is through this voluntary domestication that the House Rock ™ reminds us of our relationship with nature as a whole.
*Notice: Only House Rocks under 6lbs are permitted inside the AGSM. Thank you!
Making Our Mark III is on display in the Kayes Family Community Gallery until August 1, 2026, in collaboration with Brandon Pride.
