House Plays Presents: Dreams & Defiance
Join us at the Loring Greenough House on October 24, 2026, at 7:00 PM (EST) for a thought-provoking and powerful vignette play on the theme of dreams and defiance, portrayed by seasoned actors and new voices. Come reflect, connect and experience this unique, in-person event!
This past summer we launched House Plays, a new initiative that brings theatre into unconventional spaces outside of traditional gatekeepers for people who cannot attend a traditional theatre space.
In the second run of our inaugural production, this vignette play includes the following award-winning pieces:

•Brown Girl Dreaming (by Jacqueline Woodson; 2015 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Literary Work)
•Jannes & Jambres (by Ling Sanford)
•Listening to Lily (by Alexia Rowe; semi-finalist, Stethoscope Stage Festival 2022).
