Saturday July 11th is going to be so much fun at the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave)! For those of you who remember the Big Shiny Tunes compilation albums from the 90s and early 2000s, you are absolutely going to love this night as we are bringing a Tribute to those highly popular albums, Big Shiny Goons! The four previous instalments of House Party: A 90’s + 00’s Throwback Nights presented by Big Shiny Goons were crazy parties which all fifth SOLD-OUT in advance, so we can't wait for the 6th Party that they are bringing to the Linsmore! Big Shiny Goons will be performing many of those incredible alternative rock, punk and pop punk hits from that era of music! You will hear songs by such bands as Blink 182, The Killers, The Counting Crows, Red Hot Chilipeppers, Nickleback, No Doubt, Nirvana, Fall Out Boy, Green Day and so much more! The show starts at 9pm, tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door!Big Shiny Goons burst onto the Toronto music scene in 2023, bringing a wave of 90s and 2000s alternative rock, punk, and pop punk nostalgia to the forefront. The band's name is a nod to the iconic "Big Shiny Tunes" compilation albums that served as a musical rite of passage for a generation.
