About this Event
Unity of Columbia is raising funds for several important improvements to our building, including replacing windows, tuckpointing and painting the building, and installing an ADA-accessible bathroom.
We’re kicking off this effort with a fundraiser party at the Unity House on Friday, September 25, from 5–7 p.m. Join us for an evening of mocktails, hors d’oeuvres, live music, and community as we come together to support the future of our building.
Our building serves far beyond our Sunday congregation. We provide affordable rental space for multiple AA and NA groups, two daycares, a meditation center, classes, workshops, and annual community events. Throughout the year, thousands of people come through our doors to gather, learn, find support, and connect.
Your support will help us make our building safer, more accessible, attractive, and better equipped to serve the Columbia community for years to come.
There are several ways you can be part of this effort:
### Purchase a Commemorative Paver
Businesses, families, and individuals can purchase a paver for our new brick paver patio and personalize it with a business name, family name, favorite phrase, or the name of a loved one. Each paver will become a permanent part of our patio and a lasting contribution to our community.
### Sponsor a Building Project
You can also choose to contribute toward a specific building improvement project, such as window replacement, tuckpointing and painting, or our ADA-accessible bathroom.
