’Tis the season to give back! 💫
Java Jams is collabing with The Rocky Rave for a night of incredible house music and community spirit at House for the Holidays on 12/18 from 6pm-midnight. We’re collecting a recommended $6 donation in support of Servicios de la Raza , a local nonprofit providing vital resources to Denver’s communities in need. $6 will also earn you a raffle ticket to win prize/donations from local business around Denver from concert tickets, to giftcards and more. Keep reading below to learn more about our amazing communities involved in this special event.
Right now, Servicios de la Raza is running a campaign called “I Got Your Six”, which raises money for emergency food assistance — especially for those impacted by cuts to food programs. A $6 donation can feed a neighbor losing their SNAP benefits for a day, and with Servicios as one of the only food pantries in Colorado specializing in distributing healthy food items that center on culture, this is more important than ever. 100% of all donations from this event will go directly toward their community food outreach programs.
