Oak Street gets loud early this year. 🎸The School of Rock Metairie/New Orleans House Band opens the music at the 2026 Oak Street Po-Boy Festival on the NOLA Douggie Stage / Leonidas. These students have spent the season rehearsing at the school, and this is where they turn it up in front of a live festival crowd. Grab a po-boy, find a spot near the stage, and watch the next generation of New Orleans musicians do their thing.
Bringing the kids? Stop by the School of Rock Kid Zone. It has a live jam setup with guitars, bass, drums and vocals, our instructors on site to help, and music-themed crafts and ornaments.
School of Rock is a performance-based music school for ages 4 through adult, and our students play real shows like this one all year long.
