What is House & Haven: Vintage Barn Market?A one-day fall vintage and antique market held inside a beautiful, historic octagonal barn along the backcountry roads of Chatham-Kent.
We’re bringing together eight vintage vendors, alongside artisanal eats and treats, for a market worth taking the scenic route for.
Hosted by @HavenJamesVintage and @HouseofKnotsVintage, in partnership with @OldHomeCharming, who has generously offered us the space. The property is currently listed for sale and awaiting its next chapter.
Where is the market?
14226 Talbot Trail, in the village of Palmyra (Chatham-Kent)
When is the event?
Saturday, October 24, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
What can visitors expect to find?
We’ve brought together some of our favourite vintage and antique curators, each with a distinct eye and collections we’d love to shop ourselves. Expect antique prints, art, mid-century modern décor, homewares, jewellery, vintage clothing and records.
Is there an admission fee?
Nope! The event is free and open to the public.
What payment methods are accepted?
We’re confirming payment options with each vendor. We’ll encourage visitors to bring cash as a backup, as internet connectivity may be unreliable.
Is there an ATM on site?
No. The closest ATM is in Ridgetown, approximately 10–15 minutes away.
Is parking available?
Yes, there is a small, free parking lot on site. If it fills up, volunteers will direct visitors to nearby side-street parking.
Is the barn accessible?
The ground floor is accessible. The second floor can only be reached by stairs, and vendors will be located on both floors.
Are dogs allowed?
We’re confirming this with the property owner and will share an update shortly.
