Every Street Has a Story. Hotel Street Has a Few...
As the shadows get a little longer and Halloween draws near, Hotel Street Art Hui is leaning into the stories, mysteries, and history woven through Chinatown and Downtown Honolulu.
Join master storyteller and Native Hawaiian cultural practitioner Lopaka Kapanui of Mysteries of Hawaiʻi as he brings the past to life through tales rooted in the people, places, legends, and unexplained happenings of old Honolulu.
Setting the mood will be koto musician Darin Miyashiro, whose music draws from both classical and contemporary Japanese koto traditions. And because every good story is better with something to eat, our Hotel Street neighbors at Livestock Tavern will be sharing complimentary bites and refreshments while supplies last.
