On Thursday, November 12, 2026 from 6:30 to 7:30pm, Salinair Salt Room Spa is hosting Hot Mess Hormones, an educational class for women led by Julie Lietzau.
Whether you're still cycling or navigating perimenopause and beyond, you'll leave understanding what is happening inside your body and how to bring calm to the chaos.

What is halotherapy, and why this class is in a salt cave
Halotherapy means breathing in salt. A commercial halogenerator grinds pharmaceutical-grade salt into dry particles fine enough to breathe, then releases them into the cave while you sit back and settle in. The practice began in the salt mines of Eastern Europe, and Salinair Salt Room Spa has offered it in Rochester Hills for more than 12 years.
During this class you get 45 minutes of active halotherapy, a $50 value on its own, included in your ticket. You don't have to do anything special. Breathe normally, listen to Julie, and take notes if you like. A full session delivers no more than 45 mg of salt, less than you eat in a day, and it goes to your airways, not your stomach. Halotherapy is a complementary wellness practice and does not replace medical care.
