It's Hot Jazz Sunday Night! The monthly jazz night continues in 2026 at Hamilton Studio Listening Room with the Swingtet of the Hot Club of Spokane with special guest, Patricia Bartell!Patricia Bartell's accordion life began in rural Montana, where she started lessons at the age of eight after being adopted from an orphanage in La Paz, Bolivia. She went on to become the first student to graduate from Whitworth University with a B.A. in Music Education and Accordion Performance, and has since studied with piano and accordion masters including Dr. Judith Schoepflin, Kendall Feeney, and Frederic Deschamps. A world champion competitor whose titles include the Kimberley International and Leavenworth International championships, Patricia is now recognized across North America and abroad as a performer, teacher, and adjudicator.
