Päiväkeikkana toteutettava klubi on erinomainen tapa pyhittää lepopäivä tunnelmallisessa Nekalabissa.

Hot Heros, the jazz pride and joy of the Nekalab arts community, launches a new club series on home turf at Restaurant Nekalab. In November, the band will be joined by Ville Leinonen, known for his delicate voice and passionate style of interpretation.
Ville Leinonen’s career began in the late 1990s, and in the early 2000s he found success with his band Valumo. Since then, Leinonen has ventured fearlessly across genres, releasing not only his own music but also albums of cover songs. Renowned as a brilliant live performer, his latest album, SURF’S UP (2025), explores horror films through the language of thrash metal.
The idiosyncratic sincerity and musical sensitivity that run throughout Leinonen’s work, together with a distinctly nostalgic strain of Finnish popular song, have earned his music a lasting place in the hearts of Finnish audiences.
Hot Heros is a jazz trio formed by three seasoned musicians from Tampere. Over the course of their career, they have accompanied numerous soloists and released nine albums, both as a trio and in collaboration with pianist Iro Haarla, rapper Hannibal and singer-guitarist Janne Laurila. The new Hot Heros Featuring club at Restaurant Nekalab broadens their musical horizons even further, offering audiences unique encounters with a diverse line-up of guest artists.
Hot Heros Featuring takes place on the second Sunday of each month, with a total of eight guest soloists joining the trio over the coming months. Held as an afternoon concert, the club is a perfect way to make a Sunday special in the atmospheric surroundings of Nekalab.
