This clinic is designed for horse lovers who want to develop a deeper understanding of communication, connection and feel. Rather than focusing on the behaviour we want, we will explore the subtle language of horses and how our own body language, energy, awareness and timing influence every interaction and behaviour.
Whether you're working with a young or newly started horse, a OTTB, refining an experienced partner, or simply wanting to become a more thoughtful horse person, this clinic will provide practical exercises and a deeper understanding that you can take home and apply to every aspect of your horsemanship.
Topics Include
• Feel, timing and awareness.
• Understanding equine body language and behaviour.
• Creating a simple, kind and effective dialogue between horse and human.
• Building trust, confidence and willingness.
• Understanding how emotional state influences behaviour and learning.
• Developing softness, rhythm, responsiveness and balance.
Whether your goal is groundwork, liberty, ridden work, rehabilitation, young horse education, or simply building a deeper relationship with your horse, the principles explored throughout the weekend provide a foundation that supports every aspect of horsemanship.
This will be a supportive and encouraging learning environment where everyone can progress at their own pace.
