🚨 **IMPORTANT EVENT UPDATE ** 🚨It is with great disappointment that we announce that the **Horror Movie Campout – Back From The Dead Tour 2026, has been **cancelled** due to lower-than-expected ticket sales.
This decision was not made lightly. Despite our team's best efforts to promote the event over recent weeks, ticket sales have not reached the minimum level required to deliver the experience our guests deserve.
🎟️ **All ticket holders will receive a full refund**, which will be processed automatically back to the original payment method within **14 days**. There is no action required from ticket holders. Please check your email for further information.
We sincerely thank everyone who purchased tickets, shared our event, and supported the Horror Movie Campout. We know this news will be disappointing, and we're incredibly grateful for your understanding.
Thank you for your support.
— The Horror Movie Campout Team 🩸
WELCOME to the nightmare of your dreams this HALLOWEEN, Horror Movie Campout "BACK FROM THE DEAD" Tour 2026!
Gather your bravest friends and spend the night at the breath-taking Glenworth Valley Campground on the NSW Central Coast, just over an hour from Sydney.
Surrounded by stunning bushland, rolling valleys and a picturesque creek, it's one of Australia's most unique camping destinations—and the perfect setting for a night of horror under the stars.
As the sun disappears behind the trees, you'll step into a world where every shadow hides a secret, every sound makes you look twice, and every scream could be real...
Will you make it until sunrise?
YOUR NIGHTMARE BEGINS...
🏕️ Camp Under the Stars... If You Dare
Pitch your tent or swag and spend the night surrounded by fellow horror fans. Every Event Ticket includes overnight camping for tents and swags. Campervans, caravans and Glamping Bell Tents are available as optional upgrades.
🎬 Two Giant Outdoor Cinema Screens
Watch back-to-back horror movies beneath the night sky. The best part? You choose the movies! Every ticket holder will receive a survey before the event to vote for the films they want to see.
🎵 Live Music & Main Stage Entertainment
Live music, DJs, competitions, giveaways and interactive entertainment will keep the festival alive before the movies take over the night. And if you need a break from the big screen, head over to the Silent Slasher Disco in the bar area, running throughout the movie screenings to keep the party alive.
👹 The Shadows Are Alive...
Our terrifying scare actors won't stay on stage. They'll be roaming the grounds, hiding in the darkness and waiting for the perfect moment to make you jump.
Think you've got what it takes? Join the Scare Crew by applying through the Horror Movie Campout website.
🍔 Food, Drinks & Festival Vibes
Fuel your survival with delicious food trucks, sweet treats and a fully licensed bar serving drinks throughout the evening.
