Vampires, grim reapers, and other paranormal creatures tend to end up in her books no matter how hard she tries to keep them away.
The only person she answers to is her dog, Briar. Her husband tries, but she never listens. By day she tolerates her day job. By night, she listens to the voices in her head - who can be her muses or random ghosts - telling her which rabbit hole to go down.
