About this Event
Do you love stories that unsettle, terrify, and stay with you long after you've turned the final page? Join us at The Reading Room for our monthly Adult Horror Book Club, where we celebrate the darker side of fiction.
Each month we'll dive into a different horror novel, exploring everything from haunted houses and folk horror to psychological suspense, gothic classics, supernatural tales, and contemporary nightmares. Our discussions are relaxed and inclusive, with plenty of opportunities to share your thoughts, hear different perspectives, and discover your next favourite horror author.
Whether you're a lifelong horror fan or curious about exploring the genre, you'll be among fellow readers who appreciate a good scare.
What to expect:
- A monthly horror book discussion
- A welcoming, informal group for adult readers (18+)
- A mix of classic and modern horror
- Refreshments available from the café
- Great conversation and recommendations
