On Monday, 26th October, at around 12.20pm - probably just before the 12.30 news - my lovely colleague, Moira Hodgkinson Author, and I will be in the BBC Radio Nottingham studios to let you know more about our fun and fearsome 👻🧙♀️ workshop. The theme might be scary, but there will be a few laughs on the way.
The workshop is at Nottingham Central Library, Carrington Street, Nottingham, on Saturday 31st October between 1.30-3.30pm. If you would like to try your hand at writing a spooky story, then let us help by explaining how the brain creates the fight or flight response. When would running not be the right thing to do? What scares you and how would you describe that sensation to a reader?
So come and join us next Saturday at Nottingham's fantastic Central Library for a fun and instructive Halloween afternoon. Handouts, writing sheets and pens will be provided for you to take away with you.
