A Conversation for Sapphics & Women 30+

Buvette Pacey: Queen & Parliament - 141 berkeley street

Periods. Perimenopause. Sex. Energy. Mood. WTF is happening?
There are some conversations we simply don’t have enough spaces to have openly.
Your period changed. Your sleep is weird. Your mood feels different. Your libido has a mind of its own. Maybe you’re suddenly waking up at 3 AM, experiencing heavier periods, more intense PMS, brain fog, anxiety, night sweats, vaginal dryness or changes in your body that seemingly came out of nowhere.
Welcome to hormones after 35.
Join hormone nutritionist and founder of The Period Lab, Miranda Popen, for a candid, no-BS conversation about what can start shifting hormonally in your mid-30s and beyond including the transition toward perimenopause and how those changes can impact your period, mood, energy, sleep, metabolism, sex drive and pelvic health.
We’ll break down what’s common, what deserves a closer look, and the nutrition, movement and lifestyle foundations that can support you through this stage of life.
Because “you’re getting older” isn’t a good enough answer when you don’t feel like yourself and you deserve to understand what the hell your body is trying to tell you.
Dating in your 30s and beyond. Changes in your body. Periods. Perimenopause. Menopause. Relationships. Friendship. Living with other women. And figuring out how to navigate all of it while still trying to build a life that feels good.
This is an intimate evening created to bring women and sapphic people together for an honest, welcoming conversation about the realities of growing, changing, dating and navigating life in your 30s and beyond.
What to expect
- An engaging conversation and educational discussion
- An opportunity to ask questions openly
- Honest conversations about periods, perimenopause and menopause
- Discussion around dating, relationships and friendship as we get older
- A chance to meet and connect with other women and sapphic people
- Time to mingle and make new connections after the discussion
Who is this event for?
This event is primarily created with sapphic women and non-binary people in mind, including lesbians, bisexual women, pansexual women and other queer people who feel connected to the sapphic community.
That said, straight women are absolutely welcome. You don't need to identify as queer to attend or to benefit from the conversation. We want this to be a warm, respectful space where women and gender-diverse attendees can meet, learn and connect.
Whether you're already navigating perimenopause, wondering what to expect, supporting a partner or friend, or simply interested in having more open conversations about women's health and relationships, you're welcome here.
Come for the conversation. Stay for the community.
There aren't enough opportunities for women 30+ to talk honestly about these experiences while also making new friends and connections.
Join us for an intimate evening at Buvette Pacey (Queen & Parliament).
Come curious. Come comfortable. Come meet some new people.
