About this Event
Established in 2023 by cancer thrivers Michelle Hughes and Jennie Arsenault, Hope Happens Here brings women impacted by cancer together in a welcoming, supportive environment. The retreat focuses on mental, physical and emotional wellness, helping participants build connections, share experiences and discover tools to support their health and well-being beyond the retreat.
The fundraising concert is an opportunity for Islanders to enjoy an afternoon of live entertainment while helping support a retreat that reminds women they are not alone on their cancer journey.
Admission is $25, and everyone is welcome to attend. Come for the music, stay for the community spirit, and help make hope happen.
The concert begins at 2 p.m., featuring an exciting lineup of Island talent, including the Eliot River Choir, Lawrence Maxwell, Absolute Losers, Kelley Mooney, Kim Mooney & Larry Koughan. Jade Bulger will emcee the afternoon, with special guest Michelle Hughes, founder of HOPE HAPPENS HERE.
Adding a little extra excitement to the event, a cake auction will take place during intermission, giving audience members another opportunity to support this meaningful cause.
