Join church leaders and practitioners from across Oxfordshire for a morning of learning, reflection, and practical equipping as we explore how churches can play a vital role in recognising vulnerability, preventing exploitation, and supporting those at risk of modern slavery and exploitation.
Hosted by Hope for Justice, in partnership with The Anti Slavery Initiative Oxford (ASIOX) and the Diocese of Oxford, Hope Gathering Oxford will bring together clergy, safeguarding leads, pastoral teams, children and family workers, chaplains, volunteers, and others involved in supporting people within church communities.
Modern slavery and human trafficking remain hidden realities affecting millions of people worldwide, including individuals and families within our own communities. Churches are often among the first places where vulnerable people seek support, making them uniquely placed to identify concerns, respond appropriately, and connect people with specialist assistance.
