About this Event
Hooks & Hops: Beginner Crochet Workshop is a welcoming, hands-on class for anyone interested in learning to crochet in a relaxed, social setting at Sacred Profane Brewery and Tankpub. No previous crochet experience is required.
Maybe you have always wanted to crochet but did not know where to begin. Perhaps you have watched a few tutorials and wondered where your hook was supposed to go. Or maybe you learned years ago and could use a friendly refresher. Wherever you are starting, you are welcome to join us.
During this two-hour workshop, Dasha from Dash of Creativity will guide you through the basics one step at a time. You will have plenty of time to practice, ask questions, and receive individual guidance as you begin your first project.
Crochet can take a little patience at first, but you do not need to figure it out alone. We will slow things down, work through each step together, and recognize the small victories, from making your first stitch to seeing your project take shape.

Everything will be ready when you arrive. Simply grab a drink, find a seat, and get ready to crochet.
A Creative Afternoon at Sacred Profane
Learning a new craft is even more enjoyable with a welcoming atmosphere and a locally made beverage nearby. Food and craft beverages will be available for purchase directly from Sacred Profane Brewery and Tankpub during the event. Drinks are not included with workshop admission.
Come on your own and meet other local crafters. Bring a friend for a creative afternoon together, or gather a group for a different kind of weekend outing. You are welcome to chat and socialize as you work or settle in and focus on learning something new.
You may arrive as a complete beginner, but you will leave with new crochet skills, your own hook and materials, a project in progress, and a better understanding of how to continue crocheting at home.
Minimum Enrollment and Refund Policy
A minimum of five participants is required for the workshop to run. If minimum enrollment is not met, the workshop may be canceled or rescheduled. If Dash of Creativity cancels the workshop, all registered participants will receive a full refund.
Participant Cancellations
Refunds are available for cancellations made at least seven days before the workshop. Because materials are purchased and prepared in advance for each participant, tickets are nonrefundable within seven days of the event and are not transferable.
About Your Instructor
Dasha Randlett is the founder of Dash of Creativity and a New Hampshire-based fiber arts instructor with five years of experience teaching creative workshops throughout New England.
She specializes in beginner-friendly crochet, macramé, cross-stitch, and other hands-on projects. Her workshops are relaxed, approachable, and designed to make learning a new craft feel enjoyable rather than intimidating.
Whether you have never picked up a crochet hook or have tried a few times and would benefit from additional guidance, you are welcome at the table.
