About this Event
Honoring the Builders of Conway:
A Community Celebration
Every community is shaped by people who showed up — people who built, taught, created, served, led, cared, and made something possible for others.
On Saturday, November 14, join us at MLK Park for a free, family-friendly gathering celebrating the people, stories, and contributions that helped shape Conway — and bringing generations together to share memories, exchange perspectives, and imagine what comes next.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What to Expect
- Family fun: Creative activities for children and youth, music, and opportunities for every generation to join in.
- Food & Hospitality: Enjoy sweet and savory pies and holiday sides as we gather around stories, hospitality, and community.
- Young Builders: Children and families can enjoy face painting, bracelet making, hands-on creative activities, and storytelling that encourages discovery and connection.
- Community Conversations: Join three moderated conversations featuring Conway residents across generations. Hear different perspectives on Conway’s history, its people, and its future — and have an opportunity to share your own.

- Bring your family. Bring your curiosity. Bring a story.
A photograph. A family memory. A teacher’s name. A story about someone who opened a door. Bring what you know—or simply come curious. No speeches—sometimes it’s simply a story beginning with ‘I remember…’
