On November 1, Grace Church Fredricksburg will hold a very special service honoring Pastor Ernest and Mary for their years of faithful ministry and the impact they have made so many lives. As we prepare for the special day, we are asking our regular attendees to write a personal expression of appreciation for Ernest and Mary. Pastor Ernest has specifically asked that, whenever possible, these acknowledgments be shared in a form of a story. Think about a particular time or experience when Ernest or Mary played a significant role and helping you walk through a situation, hear from God, grow in your faith, or navigate an important season of your life. Because the service is designed to honor both Mary and Ernest, we especially encourage you to remember meaningful stories and experiences involving each of them. Please write your story or word of appreciation, placed them in a card, and bring them with you to church on any of the next Sundays. A designated basket will be available at the welcome center for you to place your expressions of appreciation. Thank you for helping us make November 1 a meaningful and memorable day of honor for Pastor Ernest and Mary.
