As the seasons turn and nature begins its movement toward darkness and rest, we are invited to pause, remember, and honor the cycles of life, death, and renewal.
Samhain is an ancient Gaelic seasonal celebration traditionally marking the transition into winter and a time of remembrance for those who have passed. It reminds us that the relationship between the living and those who came before us can continue through memory, gratitude, stories, and the love we carry.
For this month's gathering, we will create a shared altar in honor of our ancestors and loved ones who are no longer physically with us. You are invited to bring a flower, a small natural offering, a written message, or simply the memory of someone you wish to honor. Together, we will create a space of remembrance, allowing each offering to become part of our collective prayer.
Through ancestral sound, intentional stillness, and a guided ceremonial practice, we will make space for reflection, connection, and the natural cycles of release and renewal.
Following our sound journey, we will gather around a cup of herbal tea to share, integrate, and connect in community.
As we close, we will offer a moment of gratitude to the waters, honoring their capacity to hold, transform, and carry life forward. This symbolic offering will be an invitation to release what we are ready to let go of while keeping close the love, teachings, and wisdom that continue to guide us.
What to expect:
Ancestral Remembrance & Altar Offering
A shared altar created with flowers, seeds, natural elements, and personal offerings in memory of loved ones and ancestors. Bring something meaningful if you feel called to contribute.
Shamanic Sound Journey
Guided by Juliana of Return to Origen, this immersive experience weaves together ancestral instruments, voice, singing bowls, and other sound healing tools. Allow the vibrations to support deep rest, inner listening, receptiveness and expanded consciousness through a meditative journey into your own experience.
Tea & Integration Circle
We will close with thoughtfully prepared herbal tea and an opportunity to reflect, share, or simply be present with the community.
A Water Offering of Gratitude
Our gathering will conclude with a symbolic offering to the waters, honoring the cycles of life and the connection between our ancestors, ourselves, and the living Earth.
How to prepare
Please bring:
A yoga mat, blanket, pillow, or anything that helps you feel comfortable lying down.
A journal if you would like to record reflections or insights.
An optional flower, small natural offering, photograph, or written message in remembrance of a loved one.
There is no expectation to share your personal story. You are welcome to participate in whatever way feels right for you.
