Honoring our Roots : Family Tree Collage with Spirit of Ray

As the veil is said to grow thin during the season of Samhain, we are invited to slow down, remember those who came before us, and reflect on the roots that continue to nourish our lives. Join Rachael, author of Bones and the Bereaved, for a gentle two-hour creative workshop where we'll honor our ancestors through breath, meditation, storytelling, and art.
We'll begin with grounding breath work and a guided visualization to settle into the present moment and gently invite the wisdom, love and memories of our lineage. Through reflective journaling and simple writing prompts you'll have space to explore the stories, gifts, and questions that live within your family tree.
Together we'll create a mixed-media family tree using copies of treasured photographs, pressed flowers, leaves and natural elements... a keepsake honoring the people whose lives helped shape our own. We'll close with an optional sharing circle, where you're invited to share your creation, meaningful memories, or insights that arose during our time together.
No artistic experience is needed... only an open heart and willingness to remember.
Please bring: Copies of family photos you'd like to use (or we'll have extra paper if you'd rather create symbolically). All art materials will be provided.
